Location :- MAHAD
Role:
  • To search literature, planning synthetic schemes and make chemical plan for target molecules
  • Preparations of the cost effective quotes in a competitive manner, execution of selected route in lab and then technology transfer to pilot plant
  • Deliver the project with quality & quantity within the timelines
  • Daily reporting to the director R and D about the current progress
  • To present monthly status to higher management in terms of cost cutting and process developed for the assigned products
  • To coordinate with marketing team for the better delivery timeline and schedules
  • Communicate well with client by making weekly update, presentations and teleconference on regular basis and share mutual ideas to enhance performance on bench
  • Strong competency in the synthetic organic /organic chemistry
  • Structure determination of the organic molecules by interpretation of the UV, IR, NMR, CMR & Mass Spectra including LCMS and GCMS
Job requirement:
  • Qualification :- M.Sc/ M.Sc PhD
  • Experience :- Sc with min 10 years of good experience
  • Candidate should be a good organic chemist and polymer chemist with adequate experience in the development of Organic Pharma intermediates, Speciality Polymers , Construction plasticizers, PPDs/viscosity index improvers/ demulsifiers/ corrosion inhibitore, etc
  • Candidate should have experience in Organic synthesis , Hydrogenation, Chlorination , Ethoxylation , free radical catalytic polymerization, various types of esterification, reverse engineering techniques, etc

Location :- MAHAD
Role:
  • Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the plant
  • Work closely with plant and quality assurance personnel to review product quality consistency while monitoring yield rates and wastage to determine trends and areas of improvement
  • Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring that staffing and competency levels are achieved/exceeded in all aspects of the manufacturing process
  • Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality
  • Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets, including relevant departments accountable to the achievement of budgets
  • Analyse workforce requirements
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations managers
  • Encourage and promote operations in a continuous improvement environment
  • Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals

Role:
  • Lead utilities & maintenance department within the budgeted manpower & budgeted costs
  • Establish the reporting mechanism & stay up-to-date on critical maintenance related issues & potential legal non-compliance related issues at all times
  • Set up continuous improvement plan, record & improve MTBF (mean time between failure) of equipment through root causes analyses, machine reliability studies and implementation of corrective / preventive action
  • Lead transformation of maintenance department from reactionary to proactive approach on maintaining equipment, by developing & executing strategies for preventive maintenance without affecting production, & ensuring that PM compliance is maintained as per OEM recommendations & best engineering practices
  • Set up & implement inspection strategies for critical equipment as per statutory requirement
  • Maintain GPCB norms for boiler stacks
  • Make strategies for spare management keeping cost of inventory at optimal / budgeted values
  • Set up standard maintenance practices & maintenance system related workflows for site from scratch
  • Ensure all maintenance work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner in compliance to ISO 9001, OSHAS18001, ISO 14001
  • Make small training modules & train the department on best engineering practices & best safety practices

Requirement:
  • Qualification – BE mechanical / electrical engineering (Full Time)
  • Work Experience 12 to 15 years (exposure to execution of projects will be an added advantage)
  • Industry – petrochemicals, organic chemicals (handling of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, aromatics will be an added advantage)
  • Computers – proficient in MS – Excel, word, power point
  • Exposure to the profile of engineering & utilities head for an organisation (Revenue of 500 Cr per annum& above)
  • Exposure of leading cross functional maintenance team of size > 6 No’s
  • Exposure to handling of contractor manpower of size > 50 No’s
  • Exposure of handling typical equipment – centrifugal, gear, seal-less pump, triple mechanical seal, bio mass / pellet boiler, compressors ,chillers, cooling tower, blowers, CCOE approved licensed facilities, pressure vessels, fire water system, control valves, DCS – software, PSVs, induction motors, agitators, reactors, HEs , vacuum pumps , scrubbers etc.
  • Strong in implementation of strategies of preventive maintenance for all engineering functions –mechanical, electrical, instrument, civil
  • Proficient in root cause analysis
  • Proficient in working out standard operating condition of equipment on the basis of process data sheet & equipment data sheet
  • Proficient in spares management & spares budgeting
  • Able to relocate at MAHAD site and stretch for long working hours
  • Good contacts & networking with vendors handling typical mechanical, electrical, instrumentation equipment, in and around Mahad ,ROha, Chiplun , Mumbai & Gujarat region
  • Knowledge of standards / legal compliances related to –IBR, lifting tools, forklifts, welding & gas cutting, vessel entry & confined space, work at height, GFR, SMPV, ASME, IS, API etc.
