This division focuses on the production of high purity Ionic Liquids for different applications such as Synthesis, Catalysis, Electrochemistry, and Electrolyte for Batteries, Metal Recovery, Energy Storage, Fuel Cells, Sensors, Supercaps, DSSCs, Electropolishing, Metal Depositionand many more.
Ionic Liquids are gaining importance with the advent of Green Chemistry in Organic Synthesis. Environment friendly processes and materials are preferred by chemists worldwide. In our endeavour to keep the chemist at the forefront of technology, we at MIL are now offering different types of Ionic Liquids.Our own lab capacities allow a market related testing and development with the target to be a valuable partner of the Ionic Liquids industry.
By far most of our products are based on the Ammonium,Imidazolium and in combination with different anions such as Triflate, Tetrafluoroborate, Thiocyanate or Dicyanamide but we also have Piperidinium, Pyridinium, Pyrrolidinium, Phosphonium, and Sulphonium-based Ionic Liquids in our portfolio and with respect to customer´s needs.
These liquids dissolve a broad range of organic & inorganic materials, are non-volatile, non-flammable, possess high thermal stability & high ionic conductivity.
