1. PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

MINFRA PC 303 is one new Polycarboxylic acid water-reducing agent produced by special polyether monomer. With features of high range water-reducing while keeping a low gradual loss at slumps, high intensity and low liquidity loss at high temperature. The agent can widely apply to concrete with various strength grades and can meet its performance requirements; the concrete contains commercial concrete, self-leveling concrete, underwater flow-state self-compacting concrete, and mass concrete and so on.


2. MAIN PERFORMANCE

  1. ) This product is characterized by being a colorless or light yellow liquid, non-toxic, odorless, and non-combustible; and its main performance indicators are as follows:

  3. ) Small mixing amount and high water-reducing rate: on the condition that 0.5-1.6% of cement or cementitious materials are mixed into concrete, water-reducing rate may reach more than 30%.
  4. ) High strengthening effect: on the condition that MINFRA PC 303 of product is mixed appropriately, early strength of concrete may increase by above 100%, and late strength may increase by above 40%. Thus, cement content may be greatly reduced, or mixing amount of mineral admixtures may be raised enormously, and then engineering cost is reduced correspondingly.
  5. ) Small concrete slump loss per hour: MINFRA PC 303 of product can form a three-dimensional protective layer on the cement particle surface, producing a stereo-hindrance effect. In this way, concrete slump loss becomes less, that is, it has better adaptability to most cement.
  6. ) Air content of this product is 2-5% or so, and the bubble has a good structure. Thus, the product is in favor of improving the workability of concrete mixtures, reducing bleeding quantity, and enhancing the appearance quality and durability of hardened concrete. For this reason, it is particularly suitable for as-cast finish concrete engineering.
  7. ) Mixing appropriate MINFRA PC 303 of product can greatly raise concrete compactness, reducing concrete shrinking percentage and chloride ion diffusion capability, improving anti-mixing, frost-resistance, and volume stability — greatly enhancing concrete durability.
  8. ) Owing to very low alkali content and chloride ion content, MINFRA PC 303 of product have no corroding harm to reinforcement and no adverse effect on concrete after being mixed. Thus, they not only can greatly enhance concrete durability, but also be used conveniently due to their advantages of not separating salt out or being non-crystallizable in lowtemperature seasons.

3. RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

MINFRA PC 303 product may be widely used in various types of reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete works, such as the prefabrication and cast-in-place concrete, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete in engineering construction of high-speed railways, passenger rail lines, industrial and civil buildings, highways, bridges, harbors and wharfs, airport, etc. Moreover, the product is also suitable for works in which construction term of concrete batching is long and the requirement for concrete slump is high, such as nuclear power project and so on.


4. APPLICATION METHOD AND NOTES

  1. ) It's recommended that the mixing amount of this product is 0.6%-1.4% of cement or cementitious material weight.
  2. ) This product has a large water-reducing rate, so concrete slump has a high sensitivity to water yield. Please strictly control water consumption in using the product.
  3. ) According to current product performance indicators, using high-performance Polycarboxylic water-reducing agent may appropriately raise the consumption of mineral admixtures and reduce the comprehensive cost of concrete, having better technical and economic benefit.

5. PACKAGE AND STORAGE

  1. ) This product adopts plastic casks or tank trucks for transportation, and users may choose package according to the need.
  2. ) This product should be kept in sealed plastic containers to prevent water leakage and moisture evaporation; suppose the product is stored in iron pots, the pots should receive antiseptic treatment internally.
  3. ) The validity period of the product lasts for one year; provided the period expires, the product may be used continuously after concrete test proves qualified.
