1. PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

As a new generation of environment-friendly high-performance concrete additive, MINFRA PC 203 standard highperformance Polycarboxylic water-reducing agent is characterized by good effect of slump protection and extensive cement compatibility, good workability and small shrinkage. The agent can widely apply to concrete with various strength grades and can meet its performance requirements; the concrete contains commercial concrete, self-leveling concrete, underwater flowstate self-compacting concrete, and mass concrete and so on.


2. MAIN PERFORMANCE

  1. ) This product is characterized by being a colorless or light yellow liquid, non-toxic, odorless, and non-combustible; and its main performance indicators are as follows:

  3. ) Small concrete slump loss per hour: this product can form a three-dimensional protective layer on the cement particle surface, producing a stereo-hindrance effect. In this way, concrete slump loss becomes less, the slump of concrete cannot be lost within 2 hours, and it is not affected by weather and temperature conditions.
  4. ) Air content is 2-3% or so, and the bubble has a good structure. Thus, these products are in favor of improving the workability of concrete mixtures, reducing bleeding quantity, and enhancing the appearance quality and durability of hardened concrete. For this reason, they are particularly suitable for as-cast finish concrete engineering.
  5. ) Mixing appropriate product can greatly raise concrete compactness, reducing concrete shrinking percentage and chloride ion diffusion capability, improving anti-mixing, frost-resistance, and volume stability, greatly enhancing concrete durability.
  6. ) Owing to very low alkali content and chloride ion content, this product has no corroding harm to reinforcement and no adverse effect on concrete after being mixed. Thus, they not only can greatly enhance concrete durability, but also be used conveniently due to their advantages of not separating salt out or being non-crystallizable in low-temperature seasons.

3. RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

This product may be used in various types of reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete works, in particular to the prefabrication and cast-in-place concrete, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete in engineering construction of high-speed railways, passenger rail lines, industrial and civil buildings, highways, bridges, harbors and wharfs, airport, etc. It also applies to various types of construction projects which have a high requirement for concrete slump remaining.


4. APPLICATION METHOD AND NOTES

  1. ) It's recommended that the mixing amount of this product is 20%-50% of active ingredient.
  2. ) According to current product performance indicators, using high-performance Polycarboxylic water-reducing agent may appropriately raise the consumption of mineral admixtures and reduce the comprehensive cost of concrete, having better technical and economic benefit.

5. PACKAGE AND STORAGE

  1. ) This product adopts plastic casks or tank trucks for transportation, and users may choose package according to the need.
  2. ) This product should be kept in sealed plastic containers to prevent water leakage and moisture evaporation; suppose the product is stored in iron pots, the pots should receive antiseptic treatment internally.
  3. ) The validity period of the product lasts for one year; provided the period expires, the product may be used continuously after concrete test proves qualified.
