| PAP is used to formulate brightener additives employed in the electroplating industry. It is used as a top brightener in nickel electroplating baths at a concentration of 10 - 30 mg/l. |
| NPAP performs well in combination with other top brighteners and basic brighteners. It has the advantage over Malpanol PME and Malpanol NPAP that its concentration is less critical, and the bath is more able to accommodate fluctuations in concentration above and below the optimum. |
